Olocau, a true setting for a wild west movie

Olocau is a lovely place for a photo walk. close to the Natinal Nature Reserve "Parque Natural de la Sierra Calderona". Walking underneath the impressive rock formations you can easily imagine a film crew shooting some old fashioned Western movie.
There are a lot of animals such as the goshawk and the short-toed eagle or the blue nuthatch in wooded areas; Rock Thrushes, Eagle Owls, Little Owls, Peregrine Falcons and Bonelli's Eagles, in rocky areas. Small reptiles like "shingles". On the other hand, the wild cat, the genet, the red squirrel or the badger stand out among the mammals. The population of game species with partridge, hare and wild boar is also important. Lately specimens of roe deer have also been seen within the territory of the park, which suggests that this species is settling within it.
