Looking into the window

I pass this window perhaps thrice a week. Most of the time I don’t look into it, nor out of it. The window is on the brink of not being a window anymore.
But as there’s still a whole in the wall I guess you can say it’s a see through. But it’s not as if you can sit comfortably in your chair and watch the trees grow outside. No it’s more the opposite. Nature is the protagonist here, probing at you from the other side of the broken window.
But there’s still a border to cross. Some of the old plastic window is still hanging on. Stopping the shadows from entering the cabin.
The photo was inspired by seeing some Japanese photography where the contrast, the uneasiness and change in focus create an emotional laden image.
