While building a still life, G.G. our new kitten walked into the frame.
It reminded me of the portrait of Salvador Dal, the Spanish Surrealist painter who was photographed by Philippe Halsman.
Halsman's assistant threw three cats into the frame, while another assistant threw a bucket of water. At the same time, Salvador Dali had to jump.
The whole photo was a combination of vision, chance and planning.
This photo as well is a decisive moment where all things come together. Serendipity, planning and grabbing Lady Fortuna at her hair when she passes.
