Still Life with hand

Still Life with hand

And so I collect stuff. We all do...
I've got a couple of boxes full to the brim in the studio. Full of objects I've found while walking in the woodland and countryside. Selected on structure, size and material.
Often I take a photo of the object in the place where I found it. Sometimes I pick the object up and bring it to the studio, sometimes I let it mature a few years and pick it up later.
You get a relationship with the objects in such a way. Knowing their background so to speak. And while building and constructing the scenery for the photo. (I'm not quite sure if you can call it a still life), I combine and try to fit in the right personalities of the object. Making them a part of a dialogue. With each other and with you.
