Two is a pair.

Long ago, I used to read Tarot cards. They fascinated me—especially the way they allow you to reflect on your own questions. I didn’t know much about the symbolism, and I didn’t really care. But I remember the number two: the High Priestess. Two—a balance, Yin and Yang, black and white.
This still life is based a little on that idea: two characters with contrasting qualities in conversation.
I use materials I find near my home in the countryside of Valencia—rural objects, stones, pieces of wood, dried vegetables. All these elements have a soul, and I try to awaken them in my still lifes
